Welcome to the Sierra Tap House

Sierra Tap House “The Tap House” opened its doors in 2006 during the Downtown River Festival.  We are conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Reno on the beautiful River Walk District. Outside of the great assortment of Beer we have created a unique atmosphere with great patio seating directly viewing the beautiful Truckee River!

What makes the Sierra Tap House so unique?  Great question.  We pride ourselves in featuring a rotating  selection of 7 Draft beers from the Sierra Nevada Brewery, located in Chico, CA.  Outdoor seating Located directly on the River Walk gives you a front row seat to enjoy all the Downtown Festivals, Concerts, and Events without ever leaving our property.
 

Tough day at Work? Stop by and enjoy our daily Happy Hour from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. featuring $3 Draft Beers and Well Drinks! Even better, enjoy Happy Hour specials ALL day every Monday.

Outside of our great Happy Hour specials, we offer a great line-up of weekly specials and promotions including:

-Monday  All Day Happy Hour.  From Open to Close we feature $3 Draft Beers and Well Drinks.

-Tuesday Trivia Night (Voted best trivia night in RnR).  Come down at 9pm (however, you may want to get here early to save yourself a seat) and test your knowledge on random trivia, organized and hosted by our Brad Bynam. 

-Wednesday Pizza & a Brew - Enjoy a personal pizza and a beer for only $7 all day!  This is a recession proof Special.

-2nd Thursday of the Month is "Real Ale" Cask Night.  Drink beer the Old Fashion Way!  We will hand tap the cask at the beginnig of the day and pour it until the Cask is Dry.  $15 All You Can Drink, and you get to keep the Special Glassware designed for that Beer.  Check our Calendar Page to see what beers are planned for the month.

The “Tap House” is a Non-Smoking facility and upholds the highest tier of cleanliness in our establishment. Our in bar amenities include:
